Awards

• Miinikaan received the Small Business Big Impact Award from Meridian Credit Union in 2025.

• Our client, Grandmother’s voice was awarded the David Suzuki Foundation's Future Ground Prize (grand prize) in recognition of the healing garden Miinikaan designed, honouring missing and murdered Indigenous women in 2021.

• Miinikaan worked on the team to redesign Albert Campbell Public Library, which received the Heritage Toronto Adaptive Reuse Award in 2023, the Ontario Association of Architects Award of Excellence in 2024 and the City of Toronto’s Award of Excellence for Public Building in Place in 2025,
